Welcome

SpaghettiVAR is a platform to exchange ideas about applications of virtual and augmented reality (VAR), simulations, and human factors engineering.

Current research topics
Transportation and Driving

Simulation of driving-related tasks in a virtual reality driving simulator.

More information

Microsurgery Simulation

Training microsurgery skills with augmented reality.

Workspace Design

Analyzing the effect of the workspace environment on performance.

Student research projects

The Human Factors Engineering group at ETH Zurich offers student research projects in various fields, partly in collaboration with the Virtual Reality Lab at Taipei Technical University. These projects can be configured as internships, BSc and MSc theses. Durations of the projects can be 3, 4, 6 or 8 months.

Topics

The number of topics for student projects in the Human Factors Engineering group is huge. So not all possible topics are presented here. Should you have interests in topics that are not listed, you can inquire about possibilities of a student project by mail to Marino Menozzi (mmenozzi@ethz.ch). The following list includes a restricted number of possible topics for a student research project in our group:

A few concrete ideas about student research projects are listed below:
